Who are we?
Founded in November 2016, Harena Manasoa France is a French association govern by the 1901 law. We aim to support sustainable and more equitable economic and social growth in developing countries.
OUR STORY
After 20 years investing in various development projects in the Antananarivo region (Madagascar), Harena Manasoa is recognized within the community but progress is hard to measure: nearly 78% of Malagasy remains poor.
Like 24% of donors, we began to doubt development actions' effectiveness. We think we are funding the problems rather than remedying them.
All things considered, the idea came to us to help the communities in a different way. We decided then to think global for a sustainable development.
Our Expertise
Our knowledge of the country and its culture, the relationship we have cultivated with the population, our experience and know-how in various operational fields such as finance, project management, security, human resources and many others constitute the strength of the founding members of Harena Manasoa France.
Using the Malagasy proverb "Tao-trano tsy efan'ny irery" (One person can not build a house) as motto, we want to create quality partnerships in order to design adapted and viable solutions.
